The hotel was clean and homey, had very good wi-fi. The bed was lovely, and the room itself was great size. The location was central, good easy to reach bus station. Further, it was next to the main shops and restaurants leading to the old village as well as coast and restaurants. The staff was extremely friendly - we would stay here again.

The location was excellent, so close to beach and town, the local bus station and the sea front or the town. We stopped by Graces Bakery for coffee and treats, it was around 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel.

This was a comfortable stay of 4 night. This location was great, just next door to the shops as well as the sea front and the old village where there are lots of good restaurants. Pizzeria Domino's Pizza was 500 metres away from the place.
The breakfast itself was basic, can be far better.

The location was marvellous for exploring Shanklin. The breakfast was marvellous and fantastic, consisted of toast and cereal.

Wonderful hotel built in Victorian style, marvellous and brilliant location. Courteous and unobtrusive staff with a smile. Fantastic room with bigger beds and the bathroom as advertised. Excellent and outstanding breakfast on the sausages, excellent service. Honestly nothing too much trouble.

Fairly clean place with extremely friendly staff and amazing view of the garden and the local fox cubs. Great-sized room, lovely bed. Amazing and wonderful breakfast and on time. Exceptionally nice location in nice quiet area, just next door to the beach and town centre, also easy bus route to Ryde and Newport, the rail stations and local restaurants. Superb food in the restaurants such as China Garden, located 5 min away. Really had really comfortable stay of 4 night.

The breakfast was sensational and outstanding and the place was clean. The staff were courteous and unobtrusive and always had a smile. Perfect, bright room, thoroughly enjoyed it. The bed was lovely and I slept very well. The location a super close walk to city centre was marvellous and brilliant. Also, the area was local.

The location in the garden in the late evening was marvellous and lovely. A few times I ate at Ceasers Restaurant, located approx 10-15 minutes' walk from the hotel. The rooms were airy and reasonably large with functional bathroom.
Pity, but the beds were a bit too soft.
